2675 M ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING:

During four year studies, the trained graduate will receive knowledge covering all areas of electrical engineering. Students will choose an area they will focus on in their further studies to develop skills needed for future careers. By choosing optional subjects the students get higher qualification in:

• INDUSTRIAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND ROBOTICS: IT technologies, automation of control processes, microcontrollers
• INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES: creating applications in programming languages, PC networks
• AUDIO,VIDEO AND MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES: multimedia utilization, sound and video processing, household appliances.
• POWER ENGINEERING: electrical energy utilization, electrical installations, smart homes
• ROBOTICS AND MECHATRONICS: robot development and robot control, automatic production lines. Design and production of mechanical robot construction, manipulators, electronics automatization.
• DEVELOPING OF CONTROL ALGORITHMS AND PROGRAMMING OF MICROCOMPUTERS: ARDUINO,RASPBERRY and PLC.

A successful graduate of electrical engineering can find employment in the following areas:

• utilization of IT technologies, installation and PC system management
• utilization of programming languages for creating application
• creating and utilization of household appliances
• sound and video processing, multimedia application development, building sound solutions
• electrical installations, smart home solutions, electricity saving systems, alternative sources of energy, photovoltaics, lightening solutions
• in robotics and mechatronics, as programmes developers in chemical, automotive and paper industry or in constructing automatized working sites and automated production lines

2561 M Information and network Technologies

This field of study provides students with theoretical and practical skills in the following areas:

• projection, diagnostics and implementation of computer networks
• controlling, installations and diagnostics of PC servers
• installations and configuration of operating systems Windows and Linux
• utilization of IT technologies in solving practical problems
• creating software in programming languages
• Java technologies, projecting of database applications
• Projecting and administration of CISCO PC networks with possibility of obtaining CCNA certificate

2567 M MULTIMEDIA

This field of study provides students with theoretical and practical skills in the following areas:

• creating of audio-visual projects with focus on video, sound, film effects and composing synthetic music
• 2D graphics and 3D models visualization and animated movies
• designing web pages and PC games, projection of interactive promoting materials
• utilization of digital technologies, PC networks, programming in Java language and in script languages
• utilization and applying skills and knowledge from electro engineering and electronics, audio-visual equipment
• film production, TV and radio broadcasters, advertising, graphic and music studios, publishing, web portals, information and education systems

2559 M INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGIES

This field of study provides students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the following areas:

• robotisation in industrial companies
• work with programming tools and simulation of industrial robots systems
• construction of basic electronical equipment and their utilization in practice „SMART „
• creating dynamical web pages and their connection to databases
• BIG DATA and means of data monitoring and data analyses
• using tools and applications in IoT area
• programming, configuring and diagnosing of devices using IoT
• virtualization and cloud solutions
• utilization of virtual reality tools when creating 3D graphics
• applying phenomenon of artificial intelligence in virtual reality applications

A successful graduate of 2675 M ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING and 2651 M INFORMATION AND NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES studies can take CISCO exams and exam of professional competence to carry out the activity on technical electrical equipment pursuant to Section21 of the Decree of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and families of the Slovak Republic no. 508/2009 Coll.
